Dental implants in Poland – a branch of dentistry dealing with dental restoration using elements implanted in the mouth.

Implant ??an element implanted in the oral cavity (usually in the alveolar bone) which replaces the root of a tooth.

Just a few years ago, implantology was rarely used in dentistry due to frequent complications and short-term use of implants. Today the field is developing. Thanks to advances in science, research and the use of new materials in 90% of cases, treatment with this method is effective. Therefore, it is more popular than traditional prosthetic treatment. Unfortunately, however, it is more expensive.

Implants are used in case of tooth loss, on which the prosthesis can be embedded. They replace tooth roots and combine artificial teeth with the bone.

They can be used:

  • As addition to individual teeth,
  • As pillar for crowns, bridges, partial and complete dentures,
  • To improve the stability of the prosthesis.

Dentists in Poland are experienced with implants and use the most up-to-date technologies.
