Root Canal Treatment
Root canal treatment in Poland for most people sounds terrifying but is the treatment really that bad? ?What is involved in performing a root canal on a tooth and why is the treatment necessary? Find out.
There are many reasons for root canal treatment. For example:
- Your tooth has been diagnosed with having irreversible pulpitis. ?Your dentist will remove the infected pulp.
- If you have a broken or cracked tooth, and the nerve of your tooth has been exposed, what you need is root canal treatmentBefore beginning any root canal treatment, your dentist will make sure your mouth is thoroughly numb using local anesthesia.
Before having root canal treatment perfromed, your dentist will applicate anesthesia to the place of treatment. Then the infected tooth is isolated from the rest of your mouth. To remove the infected tooth pulp, the dentist makes an opening through the top of the tooth down into the pulp chamber. An instrument called a dental file is used to remove the infected tissue and shape the root canals for receiving a filling material. After the canals are filled, an x-ray is taken to be sure that all of the infected pulp has been taken out.
After one or two visits the procedure is complete. You will need tooth restoration. Depending on your situation, your dentist in Poland may recommenddifferent ways to do this, most commonly you will receive a crown.
