Pain after root canal treatment

Even after successful root canal treatment after a few days pain may appear in the treated area. Initially it may be occur only when biting and temperature changes. With time, the pain may go into a continuous state.

The problem may have of the following reasons. It could be inflammation, which appeared around the treated area,? a wrong amount of filling in the tooth, root fracture or incorrectly madecanal fillings. The dentist should perform a thorough examination of the painful area and shoot X-rays. If the X-ray did not give any answers about the cause of pain and there was no inflammation and lowering the tooth filling didn?™t bring relief, it will be necessary to have an look at the tooth under the microscope to check if the root didn?™t fracture.
