Dentists in Poland would like you to know a few things about root canal treatment:

Endodontics – a branch of dentistry dealing with the diagnosis and treatment of diseases of pulp and periapical tissues.

The pulp – the soft tissue of the tooth, located in the cavity pulp web. It consists of connective tissue, nerves and blood vessels, and is the only part of the tooth bloodshot. It is divided into: coronal (chamber) and the root. The corners are the coronal pulp, which are arranged in the direction of tooth cusps.

Periapical tissue – bone tissues surrounding the opening, which is located in the root of the tooth and connects the pulp of the bone.

Causes of pulp diseases:

  • bacteria
  • infection,
  • trauma to the tooth,
  • frequent changes in temperature and acidity in the mouth.

Symptoms:

  • pain,
  • swelling of the gums, cheek,
  • halitosis,
  • sensitivity to sweet and cold foods and drinks,
  • carious cavity,
  • abscesses,
  • change the color of the tooth.
